Events/Conference volunteer

BIRW are hosting a conference in Dublin in February 2009 and need the help of an enthusiastic and experienced volunteer to help with the planning of the event.  The ideal volunteer will have experience of events or conference management and some interest in Northern Ireland.   The volunteering position will be based at BIRW’s office in Clapham South and requires a commitment of two days per week.  We would like someone to start as soon as possible, and be prepared to provide references.  This is a great opportunity for someone who has an interested in human rights and the victims and survivors of conflict.  Please note that BIRW only pay local travel expenses.
